$100K in 365 Days, Can I Do It?

Hello.

If you've found this blog, it's because you were meant to. I have not linked it anywhere or promoted it in any way. That's because it's secret. It's my Super Secret Project. I am taking 365 days to learn how to make $100,000 starting from $0. That's right. I currently make an income of $0.

I've struggled all my life with money. I am not bad at handling it. I'm quite good at budgeting and being disciplined enough to follow my budget. But I've never really learned how to make money. I've had jobs in the past with my highest hourly wage being $11. But I've always made just enough or a little less than enough. I've never made even a comfortable amount, certainly never an abundant amount. When opportunities to spend money came up, I would freeze inside and not want to participate for fear of not having enough money. I didn't have enough as it was, so how would I have enough if I spent more of my money. Logically, it seemed the best way to have money was to hold onto my money.

The problem with that is that now, at 38 years old, I have less money than I ever did (remember that $0 current income?). So something about my logic of holding onto money is off.

I decided to start this blog to document my journey of going from holding onto to money to learning how to make more money. I have no idea if I will make 100k in 365 days starting from $0. In this moment it doesn't seem possible. But I'm determined to come out of 2020 with a different mindset about money, even if I don't make that $100k. That's the real treasure I'm after.

Follow along with me as I discover new ways to view money, new methods to handle my money so I don't live in fear of not having enough, and finally reach a mindset of continual abundance.
